My career journey began in 1995 when I joined a family-owned, mid-sized legal technology company. I quickly found myself thrust into a managerial role, not due to any inherent leadership abilities, but because the organization was undergoing rapid expansion, and the CEO needed help to manage this growth. Being young and eager, I embraced the opportunity.
 

However, the challenge I faced was the lack of a mentor or coach to guide me in this new role, a common issue in many small to mid-sized businesses. Determined to succeed, I took matters into my own hands and decided to become my own manager. I spent my weekends devouring management and leadership literature, and during the workweek, I applied what I had learned, albeit with initial setbacks.
 

Over the next two decades, through a process of trial and error, I gradually honed my skills and became more adept at leading organizations and managing people. I remained a perpetual "student of the game," always seeking to improve and refine my abilities. This journey is what compels me to share my knowledge.

Here's the bottom line:

1. I understand that there are individuals seeking a valuable resource to help them succeed in their new roles.

2. I recognize that many organizations aspire to grow but may struggle with the strategies needed to achieve that.

3. I am aware that leaders and managers face challenges in building, motivating, and fostering a high-performance culture within their teams.
