"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Over the last year, I have met over 300 people. The people that I met were entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, C-level executives, and many more professionals. These were women, men, young, old, sons, daughters, mothers and fathers. They all had many things in common but one particular thing that I was focused on. They all have had moments where they lost their confidence but found their way back up.
"Confidence is like a muscle: the more you use it, the stronger it gets." - Unknown
Because of these stories, I created "The Confidence Journal." (Go here to learn more: https://a.co/d/0MZGHR5). This is a weekly journal where people can briefly write about how they feel about their confidence. There are four basic questions that you ask yourself with one idea or prompt that is different each week. As an example, "How does working towards and achieving your goals affect your confidence levels?" There are some inspirational quotes and stories interspersed to help you think and write about your experience.
"Low self-confidence isn't a life sentence. Self-confidence can be learned, practiced, and mastered—just like any other skill." - Mark Twain
I know for me writing about my confidence, understanding how I lost it and how I regained it, and knowing the history of my confidence has helped me both personally and professionally and I hope it can help you too.
